DEAF SENIOR AMERICA TO HOST BIENNIAL CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS ON JUNE 19-28, 2009

Deaf Senior America (DSA) will host its biennial conference at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, NV on June 19-28, 2009. Approximately 3,000 people are expected to attend.

The Conference will offer something for everyone with its amazing selection of events such as—Red Hat Luncheon, DSA Golf Tournament, comedy shows, and a gala banquet. Over 40 presenters will give workshops on relevant topics affecting seniors and their families, to name a few: medical, financial investments, healthy lifestyle, technology, sexuality and travel. Sorenson Communications is sponsoring the poker tournament. There will be exhibit booths as well. For those who want to take a break during a busy day, DSA is offering guests to enjoy a relaxing massage provided by a group of people who have experience.

When registering, please make sure you sign up for your Red Hat Luncheon ticket. DSA is currently accepting exhibits requests as well as presenters for workshops.

DSA is also pleased to announce that National Technology Institute for Deaf (NTID), Sorenson Communications and Sprint Relay is a proud sponsor of the DSA conference. Do take the time to visit their booth at the exhibit hall. To obtain sponsorship information, please contact Kristin Lizor at klizor@bonhyeo.com.

DSA serves as a support group and resources for senior citizens who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The website can be found at http://www.dsa2009.us.
