| Remember I sent out MDC eNewsletter who needed a
family home last 2006?... This deaf dog name is "Ready"?... Now
finally Ready had found a new family home live in Millington, TN.
I have a letter from them here read below. |

Hi Wally!
Just thought you'd like to know that the deaf dog Ready finally got the
forever home that he needed. We did not take him to the Tennessee
Valley Cattle Dog Rescue's main facility as I had considered, but we
kept him and kept looking for a home for him. Someone saw Otto walking
him one day a short while ago and decided that he was the dog that she
and her husband were looking for, so they decided to adopt him.
They are a very nice family with a cat and a toddler. Ready does very
well with cats and children and he fits in very well there. They like
him very much and will take good care of him, and Ready seems to be very
happy. Ready is an indoor dog, but his new family lives in the country
on several acres where Ready has plenty of room to play outside. They
use signs for him, but the adopters are not deaf.
We may foster another one of the deaf dogs that TVCDR has at its
facility to try to help it get a home, but right now we have another
dog, a hearing Cattle Dog named Poco, that we are fostering that TVCDR
asked us to pull from the Memphis Animal Shelter.
Thank you for your help and concern when we were trying to find Ready a
home. We appreciated that you cared about him and helped by letting
people know about him. We are so happy to have found him a good home
where he is happy.
I saw that you have expanded your web site. It looks very nice.
